STAND UP COMEDY CLUBS

I love Stand Up but only as an audience member, I would never be brave enough or funny enough to take to a stage.

THE ROTUNDA  28 Tunnel Street Glasgow.

This is a Comedy Club venue I would love to visit. The team behind the Rotunda Comedy Club also organize the Scottish Comedy Awards and Scottish, English & Irish Comedian of the Year Competitions, so they know who is funny. They were the first to give Alan Carr, Kevin Bridges paid gigs and to headline John Bishop all of who have gone on to be world-famous and some of my favorite comedians.

THE GLEE COMEDY CLUB   -11 Renfrew Street Glasgow City Centre G2 3AB

THE STAND COMEDY CLUB -333 Woodlands Road, Glasgow West End G3 6NG

If you want guaranteed comedy, look no further. Cheap tickets and bar prices also mean you’ll be sure to get your money’s worth. If you're lucky enough, you might spot a big-name or unearth a star of tomorrow.

THE GLASGOW INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL

278 High Street Glasgow G4 0QT The festival started in 2001 and is held annually in March in venues across the city.

YESBAR 14 Drury St Glasgow

Tucked underneath Yesbar in the basement is a full-time comedy club. The small, intimate venue is fast becoming one of the funniest places to be in Glasgow. Upstairs is a retro Italian-stye cafe/bar with pizzas and weekend DJs and prosecco on tap.
